Larry Smith has spent 40+ years in Heavy-Duty Aftermarket, Fleet Operations, and Distribution — expertise behind every product ISS represents.
He started in 1981 at Gooch Brake & Equipment, rising from sales to Regional Vice President to President & CEO. Under his leadership the company grew to three locations, known for braking systems and fleet maintenance expertise, before he sold it in 2010.
Along the way, he managed territories spanning up to 22 states and served 19 years in CFS/CVSN leadership, including Association President in 2001.
Today, Larry applies that experience — plus modern tools like AI-driven pricing intelligence — to help distributors and fleets grow profitably through Industry Sales & Solutions.
